Self-Cleaning Fabrics & Fabric Protection – [...] (2021)
This project, undertaken for a large (S&P 500), American consumer goods company, sought startups developing technology related to the care and maintenance of textile products, including: self-cleaning fabric technology to remove stains on textiles; fabric protection technology to maintain textile quality and appearance; and fabric restoration technology to repair damaged textiles. The technologies of interest included but were not limited to nanotechnologies and new materials.
The project required a global outlook, and the utilization of resources that reflected this, with solutions at all stages of development considered. A secondary focus of this project was identification and matching of potential incubation and acceleration partners with the client, with the intention of developing relationships that might provide the client a pipeline of relevant ventures in the given field, for potential future collaboration or acquisition.
